Just took a look at the box scores. Westbrook had a beastly first game back. 32 points (12/17 shooting), 8 assists, and 7 rebounds in only 24 minutes to win by 27 points.

Edit: This was the first time in NBA history that someone tallied at least 32 points and 8 assists in only 24 minutes.

Also, James "best SG in the game" Harden had 16 points (5/12 shooting) with 5 turnovers to lose by 17 points.

Gasol actually made 2 clutch free throws. Lol.

After a dumb foul by Hinrich, Ellis just drained 3 clutch free throws to tie the game.

Rose hit the clutch 3 to send it to 2OT!!

I just heard that this is the worst start in Knicks history, which is pretty impressive (in a bad way) considering how many bad teams the Knicks have had in the past. Lol.

Both, Phil and Fish need a reality check, triangle won't work. Too bad for NY because i don't think they have a plan B.

The Knicks really choked away the end of the game. A few odd calls (the Melo travel) which I was surprised were called (but that's life). What I found disturbing was that the Knicks did worse after time outs and often seemed to struggle to make an extra pass which was counter-intuitive to how they naturally played and scored. I have little faith in a triangle with broke knee Amare as the Pau in the offense and Melo as the Kobe. That being said the Knicks seemed in it till the last six minutes when the Cavs just snatched it back. It is always interesting watching Melo vs Lebron. Melo did seem more physical, but the effort tired out Melo and made him shoot sloppy shots that he normally would make.

The Knicks have the most rudimentary grasp of the Triangle that you can possibly have. It's a disaster. Anyone with half a brain knew this wasn't going to work. I feel bad for Phil and Fish, but this was what they signed on for. This team isn't going to be good for a while. They're not going to attract Marc Gasol or Rajon Rondo this summer with THAT roster and such a cloudy future. They're in a worse spot than we are.

Tim Duncan just became the second oldest player ever to get a triple double.

    38 years old
    14 points
    10 rebounds
    10 assists
    2 blocks
    2 turnovers

Of COURSE that lucky 3 goes in by BG...nothing worse than watching the stupid clippers win a game they didn't deserve to win at the BUZZER on a Blake Griffin 3 that bounced up and in.....

Close game but the execution from both teams down the stretch was not good ( this is what matters ) ... Didn't see anything from the Floppers which will prevent another 1st/2nd round exit .

Suns with Dragic constantly off the ball are dissapointing ... Don't get this call from Hornacek , Dragic is a better decision maker and offense "runner" than Bledsoe .

Would have been a great game, Cavs vs Thunder but of course LeBaby sits out with a sore knee.

Matador defense of that MVP crown. Step out of the way, and not give even a recovering Durant a chance to show him up with that gun tower jumper of his. Like Dwight avoiding Kobe.

Cavs get so lucky again again with Kyrie only having a left knee contusion (knee bruise). When I first saw it I knew it was a hyper-extension of the knee but the way Kyrie was reacting I thought it was much worse.

Wish we had some of the luck when Kobe hyper-extended his knee last year.
