That said, I'll give Deng more time. He hasn't looked good, but he is adjusting the same as everyone else. I still think he can contribute to this team once the staff really figures out his role on the court.

Couple things.

Boom Boom I've heard from friend of a friend of friend ..... reads LB. He looks at his smiley here and walks away shaking his head wondering what it will take to get a cool one of his own. Nicknames like Boom Boom don't come around often. He's sensitive.

I wouldn't mind seeing Robinson and Zubac platooned as to dressing with the team to try and get him some minutes. He'd start in a heartbeat I bet from Luke if Moz was to miss any number of games. Tough to get playing time though with Moz playing well and killing it at the FT line and Tarik playing well. Then there's also the ongoing project with Julius to see if he can hang in there at the 5 and not suck on help defense.

Looking better ostensibly with the double double, but he bungled some easy layups and putbacks. I think he can contribute, but wonder how much more he can give with age and health clouds overhead. 60/40 in terms of optimism, but considering what we wanted him to be he is a disappointment.

I want that awkwardly long, open three sinking, team gluing deng that was part of the miami team for a while. I know no Deng no deal Deng is long gone.

If there is an amnesty clause, I don't think it gets used til year 3. If he's in year 4, he's an expiring contract that can be traded.
