For guys who ref Ingram to Wes, do you even know Wes was a 3yr college player? If Ingram still looks bad after 3yrs then we can start the comparison

Ingram is just tentative trying to play within the team and get used to the NBA. I remember they were saying at Duke he started off slow as he adjusted. I expect us to see some 15-20 point game flashes throughout the first half and he settles in more consistently in the second.

We, as Lakers fans used to watch NBA ready , hell " near championship ready" players for a long time .

I know it sucks a LOT to witness the worst era in Lakers history but at least let's try enjoying the development of our young players and understand it takes seasons .

Players usually enter their prime in season 6 and some of you are kind of drawing conclusions on the potential of a rookie based on some preseason games , really ?

Are the playoffs here yet? How'd we do? Can't wait til we win it all. Maybe we need a new coach. Fire somebody and make it happen!

and wasn't wes, like, 23 years old at draft time? i don't see this comparison at all. ingram seems pretty smart and is already fairly effective putting the ball on the floor and passing. wes can't master team defensive schemes, dribble, or pass, and he's got to be near 30 and an nba veteran.

Brandon will be fine. I have tempered my expectations for the kid. He's clearly not ready and quite honestly he shouldn't be. Not just his age, but where his body is at. There's just no way he's ready to be an impact player from day one and probably not for two or three years. I still believe he has the chance to be a terrific two way player one day, but before that happens he needs to get stronger and be able to handle the grind of an 82 game season and be able to matchup game in and game out with some of the game's best and that is gonna take some time.

Handles the ball, along with some solid defense, good shot selection. He's a complete player.

I love that Ingram is getting more aggressive. Made some nice passes. Put that ball on the floor and got to the rim. Best game so far as a Laker. I hope Luke keeps giving him some opportunities to play make.

Ingram plays under control most of the time...does not try to force the issue much. Always looking to move the ball or hit the open man like that cross court pass to Russell for the lay-in. Ingram's shooting from distance is still a bit spotty though his mid-range is fine.
