A couple years? The kids already got the whole team behind, minus maybe Nick and Lou.

The swagger he plays with and fearlessness, you're not gonna get that from anyone else on this team.

Nick and DAR are old news with last year's event. It's over. Nick has new hot GF and they are out there playing basketball. I saw them come off the floor, touch fists and Russell give Nick a quick pat on the butt. And like I said above what is with all this dissatisfaction with Lou this year??? Luke will straighten him out the appropriate way in a positive way "IF" he sees something he doesn't like.

Ya, I dont get it either. Lou is good. Also, its preseason. Laker fans need to really get realistic about what needs to happen here. Luke is starting from scratch here.

I think the dissatisfaction is more about Lou's fit with the team, and not necessarily directed at Lou's ability or performance. We have duplicates of the same type of player in Lou and Young, and I guess you could also throw Clarkson into the mix if we're talking 6th man. Lou's a good player, but he's a tweener at 6'1", and given that Clarkson is also kind of small for a SG, I'd prefer if we could trade Lou for a prototypical SG.

Are we sure DAR isn't a SG too?

That's probably his natural position, but he's gonna have to learn being a PG, just like Curry did in college.

Lou is fine off the bench for a team which won 17 games.

He is fine off the bench for a 1st round Eastern team exit aswell .

He is a free agent at the end of the 2017-2018 season so we're good .

I'm not a fan of him being a starter at all though

Sure he is. The Lakers just don't want to let him explode at that position atm and are forcing him to be a playmaker.

The majority of the PGs are more of scorers 1st for a while with the evolution of the game.

DAR size is a major advantage because it will be harder for opponents to stop him just by putting bigger defenders on him as they usually do against 6'2 , 6'3 PGs

Either way, I'm really digging his shooting efficiency right now. It would be nice to see more assist, but maybe that will come in time.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how much better you think he's gotten compared to the finish of last year and your overall number for him as a player.

Great game last night. Nothing for me to really nitpick today.

Yes. That would be a scary place to be. I have friends who were in St. Augustine, too. They lucked out. Glad you're safe!

really looking more comfortable finding his spots in the offense, it seems. the lakers have themselves a #1 option type scorer, i think.
