That would be a no brainer for us IMHO

    Kiss Nick goodbye!

I'd do that trade all day, every day and twice on Sunday. I've been willing to trade him for a bag of chips but for a former ROY, he'd be a hell of a back up PG.

But why in the world would the Bucks do this, sure it's Giannis' team but Middleton is out for a while with an injury, could use MCW if you'd ask me.

Oh we're "willing" to trade Young for MCW? How nice of us to be willing to do that for them. I'm sure we're "willing" to trade him for a 2nd round pick in 2030 and some cash too.

As much as I would like to get rid of Young I want to see him in Luke's system now or if he even gets any PT. We dont need another PG and I really like the things Marco and Jose can do for us already. I'd imagine at 6-6 or 6-7 MCW can play some SG too but I'd rather wait and see what else we could get for nick. Ideally a draft pick so we can save some cap space in the coming years.

I gotta give Nick credit. He played well tonight. Better than Deng and MWP did in their stints anyway.

I missed the first half. It seemed like more catch and shooting?

Yep. But he also played better D than he usually does. Especially team D.

Nick is one dimensional and tends to take bad shots but when he gets it going he can put up a lot points quickly. If his shot is dropping, keep im in, if not, pull him.

It's too early to tell right now. I think Boron had more issues with Russell than Nick, but he also didn't like Nick's personality. Nick seemed to roll off Boron's comments a bit more easily than the young guys did.

Nick played better under D'Antoni than he did under Boron, so it may be a system issue too.

No matter the system, Nick is still an immature goofball. He hasn't made the most of his abilities, and given the choice, I'd prefer not to have him around our kids.

The good news is that his impact is lessened by having other respected vets around that are more accomplished than him. His voice is gone or severely diminished. If he can thrive in that role, financially he's a deal worth keeping.

Think of this way, Sirron, if he plays well, we may find another team to trade for him; same goes for Lou. Their both redundant, and with Clarkson possibly coming off the bench who can be a super sixth man, we can find a better fit at the SG position and potentially a stretch 4.

I definitely see a mid season trade happening this year.

What does your "gut" tell you with his paleolithic offense he was running these past 2 years?
