Zubac is going to be a fan favorite. He's just gleaming of the purple of gold that we all share, I see myself getting a shirt jersey of his before anyone else to be honest.
I really think that is true with his coming popularity that whatever chant the fans settle on for him will be even more energetic than what Luke got with the "Luuuke" cheers.
I think he can, but from what I saw in Summer League, he needs to become MUCH more aggressive. IMO, that's more important than him gaining strength or weight.
I do not know what we would do without this ground breaking analysis. "Brandon Ingram has a chance to be an elite scorer". Wow. Brandon Ingram has the chance to play in the NBA for 10 years. That's IT!!! Who's with me!?
Click on the link. Fran has more extensive analysis on both Ingram and Zubac. Take a listen...it's a 35 minute interview. You won't regret it.
I went through the comments, just out of boredom... Oh my. One guy (I know it wasn't one of people here) claimed that NBA >> D-League >> EuroLeague (as a support to why Zubat will benefit from D-League, which he won't IMO). I don't know what to even say to that INSANCE claim. Absolutely EVERY team in Euro League would smoke D-League so hard... Actually, I am pretty sure many of the middle-tier teams in Spanish, Italian, Russian league would do the same... Hell, Top-16 College teams would probably dominate. I still am puzzled as to how someone can think that...
Stare downs and chest pounding maybe makes it seem better than it is? Nobody puts Zu in the corner .....errrr.... D-League. The A team is going to need him. Plus would not make hot 4 yrs older GF happy.
Those are wookies not bears Dummy. Just teasing. Know exactly what you mean. The fans at Staples are going to love Zu because of that personality.
which is odd, considering that nba teams own and operate many of the franchises and supposedly try to groom both coaches and players there.
If you aren't the man ball handling guard, it's going to be hard to showcase your talents. Watched a lot of DLeague while keeping up with Upshaw and he was open on a lot of plays only to have the guard chuck up a shot.
