wow. pool is shallow. i think mcgee's used up his chances. good for him that he made a bunch of cash from being tall and super talented, but man, i wish he cared more and/or had a better mentality. i actually wonder if he's semi-functionally r*******. i know they say his adhd is bad, but i wonder if it's a misdiagnosed general developmental issue. i'm not sure i've EVER seen someone that big with that agility and eye-hand coordination. goes to show how much of this game is between the ears. for a second straight year, zaza pachulia (whose heart is bigger than his hands) will have to get seriously injured for mcgee to see the floor.
i thought so, too, that's why i was puzzled. denver really had no use for a stretch 4 who plays pretty smart and tough. kind of a nick collison type (not as tough, more skilled). anyway, seems like a lot of teams would have jumped at him for 2nd rounders.
well, they've got nurkic and jokic at c, and faried at pf. after that, it must have been between darrell arthur (8m per) and lauvergne at near minimum. maybe they're afraid he'll get overpaid next year in FA? arthur is a good backup pf, but a big injury risk, i think.
