A possible answer to my own question? Because Jordan shoots the ball quite a bit lower in front of his head than Mike or Kobe did? That is one kind of oddity about the way he shoots. Maybe what's the point of going to all the trouble to jump leaning backwards in the air for your Js if you're going to release it from in front of your eyebrows?

Just wondering on this choice of shooting mechanics. I like Jordan a LOT. A bit more than a little concerned about health of his ankles going forward when the "Dirty Ds" of the league realize they don't even have to work hard or pick up fouls by blatantly walking under him.

The part of the interview where he mentions sticking around and believing in the process and struggle..sounds very Kobeish.

^Young gets a mention in the interview. I still don't get the ripped at the knee caps jeans or ripped in all places for that matter. Why...? SMH.

Agreed about the fashion - jeans ripped part. I'm 26 years old and it floors me. How can anyone found this cool and appealing.

To each their own I guess

It's a lot of extra work and labor ripping the holes ... why do you think they charge so much for them? :Crazyartest:

the fashion stuff is a bit lame, but i guess that's the main angle. what he had to say about the team and his experience was encouraging. i like that he wants to be part of dragging the franchise back to respectability, and he seems to understand it's not an overnight process. hopefully, everyone wants that and gets that.

I dont get obsessions with clothes period. I wear t shirts and shorts with sandals. I doubt any outfit I wear costs more than 100 bucks. All the stuff he is wearing looks uncomfortable and completely impractical. Soooo much money completely wasted.

Seeing young dudes wear stuff like ripped jeans makes me feel pretty good as I get older lol. I'll always have an open mind when it comes to new music, film, or any art for that matter. But I'm so glad that I don't have to care about crap like that anymore. Only thing on my agenda is "don't look like a bum".

I cared about clothes in HS, college and all throughout my 20s, but I can't even imagine what it's like now. With every kid with a pocket full of millions of images, I don't know how they deal with exponential vanity like that.

The lady in pink however, rip away. It's all good :D
