Interesting. I'll look into. Might be some optimization things on the back end that help the site load quickly. Not sure why it would affect direct links to images though...
It has been like that for all embedded material, for me, for quite some time. Reloading the page solves it...
I liked watching the footage of him in Day 2 because it showed some important points of improvement, but also showed some of his faults. His jumper is looking better and more natural and he's moving the ball quicker and with more confidence. He was a ball stopper a lot of times last year. However, he's still got a problem with bigger players and while his shot is looking smoother, we're need proof it's going in more often. Overall it was encouraging, but to me it looked like Jordan controlled Julius a little too much for my liking. He's still a ways away from being the small ball center we are hoping for.
Oh whoah!! Where have I been? Makes note to self to not be a slacker and better keep up with sirron's latest gifs. :Headbang: :Headbang:
Anybody remember the old MDA Phoenix days? I'm sure most of us do; remember the way they use to utilize Diaw? I think Randle would do himself a great favor by watching some of the old Diaw footage and more recent of Boris and see how he fit in this offense. Randle can become a more dynamic version of that, IMO.
Yeah, I seen this tweet and I asked myself, how would Pop use Julius. I though of Diaw. I remembered a poster on another site made the comparison and why I made it today. I went back and watched some old Diaw footage, and it could be a blueprint for Julius to become a force in Luke's systetom, IMO
The Diaw thing is a bit of a head scratcher to me. Diaw developed into a pretty good three-point shooter. Maybe Julius will. But Diaw never really played in the paint, and he became an excellent passer. I don't see the match at all in terms of skill or role.
I think Julius has the ability to pass very effectively. Diaw also took advantage or at least to me operated in he post and either created shots for himself other his teammates. I see the same advantages that Julius could utilize, IMO.
Randle has to work on his anticipation and timing as a passer if Walton wants him in some sort of low post facilitator. He's had flashes of that skill bringing shades of what Odom used to do. Most of the time last season, Randle was a mixed bag as a passer though that could be due to the fact that there was no set offense schemes installed. Ratatouille meanwhile played point when he was coming up the French ranks so he already had and developed that innate ability to pass.
I mean, maybe, but I don't see it. There's a lot I don't see in Julius Randle. Right now I see a better Reggie Evans on offense, and an I don't know what on defense, but he's working. I like his work ethic - a lot - and I like his general attitude - a lot.
Reggie Evans? With all due respect...no! I know you're a very busy man so I'll chalk that up to maybe sleep deprivation. LOL!
Would like to see more jumpers in these practice....the one he did make looked good but still seems like he has to turn his body to the side still when hes taking them, is that normal?
