    In reference to the article a couple posts up, there is no way Zu isn't on the roster and in the regular rotation.

    Yeah, she is saying the same thing at the end and scoffing at anyone who thought another year or two in Europe "hidden" or wasting his time in the D league. He seriously is so big and so far along with his skills and coordination and defense timing around the rim without fouling like a rookie that he has to be in the rotation.

    I love Zubac but we just signed Tarik Black to be our back up and Mozgov (UGH) to be our starter....where will Zubac realistically find minutes? I guess if Mozgov gets injured (Highly likely) then Zubac can make a name for himself.

    if zubac outplays either or both, he'll play. this isn't the byron regime. i'm guessing he'll learn in practice and play when someone's hurt this year, unless (sadly) the full tank is back on by midseason. but if he bulls his way into the rotation this year, all the better. black's contract is only two years, and mozgov would be a great backup if it came to that.

    In Golden State their centers played less than 30 minutes, so there is room for platoon and competition based on who we are playing and the lineups.

    Competition is not a bad thing, nor is bringing along a young talent slowly so he can gain confidence.

    Black's contract is only two seasons with a team option on the second. If a 19 year old Zubac plays out of his mind, we only need to pay Black for one year.
