i truly think Deng can be the guy people look back 5 years from now and credit for us becoming contenders again. I love his demeanor and i think he's a perfect mentor for the kids. the kids may goof off a bit at times but they work hard and are coachable. some of Luol's comments made him sound like a player/coach.

Lineup of Russell, Clarkson, Ingram, Deng and Randle should be an interesting lineup during the game.

Dude is a class act. He comes across as a very sincere, aughentic, mature person. Very good dude and still a productive player.

I like this thought, but I'd rather have JC in at the end of games in all scenarios.

I'd be surprised if Ingram starts at any point of his rookie campaign. Although Luol has slowed down a bit, he's still the total package, including all the intangibles you'd possibly want in a player.

If Ingram surpasses Deng at age 19, he will become a superstar no doubt.

What stuck out to me I think is that he echoes what everyone has said so far: whatever it takes. I love that. I love that everyone is coming in and is willing to be flexible. Starting doesn't matter as much as winning and being part of the team. I love that so many of our team is already thinking that way. Obviously doing it is different than saying it, but it's a good start.

I would like to see Ingram and Deng at the 3 and 4 respectively at some point.

I think Luol eyes coaching. Lakers seemed like a good place to start going toward that goal.
    New culture. New HC. Perfect.

In 3 years, he'd be ready to retire and become an assistant.

Don't think he retires at 34 barring a catastrophic injury knock on wood

Great interview with Deng, and I think he'll be an excellent pick up, especially for the first couple years.

Deng is perfect for what this team needs. It's no coincidence that he's universally loved wherever he's played.

Wonder what number he'll be. Was #9, but that is Huertas right now.

How can anyone not like that interview. Perfect fit for what we need, with both player and person.

According to the Lakers Instagram, he'll be #2

Fitting number for a locker room leader. Although that would kind of mean that Brandon Bass is gone.
