Yep, considering the cap spike this year and next, we got JC on a nice discount still.

I have high hopes for Jordan. This is going to end up looking like a steal.

But I will still be extremely frustrated when Mitch inevitably starts his press conference with something along the lines of, "In my eyes, we had a successful free agency because we were able to sign one of the top young free agent guards on the market".

We all knew that one way or another, Jordan was going to stay.

Sorry to belabor the point but we really got a steal with JC new contract. He definitely took less to stay here

Pincus is a far better capologist than I so he WILL count against the cap a bit, but still guys that's an enormous steal for us.

His max was what Mozgov got (4/64 million). This contract is worth about 9 million under the last cap amount. Great, great news for the Lakers.

Guess D'Lo did know JC was about to get his money.

Excellent move though. There's no way Clarkson was ever gonna be let go. JC is our most consistent player right now. He's gonna improve his defense. He's a tremendous worker.

JC is a guy I think is gonna be a hell of a player in this league. I've likened him to Jason Terry, but I've also compared him to Tony Parker lite. I don't think he'll be as good, but definitely someone I could seeing being an All Star maybe a year or two down the road.

I think he's gonna have a terrific career. I think all of us would be happy with an All Star game or two from Jordan. Especially with what we think Ingram and Russell are going to be.

Real big fan of this deal, guess it kind of even out the Mozgov shock to me.

Thank God. He's had to eke it out the past two years, living in poverty. Now he'll be able to provide for a family.

Now this is a good deal. Appears he gave us a discount because he wanted to be here because he could probably have gotten more elsewhere if freakin Bazemore is an 18 mil per guy. Glad to have him back, and glad they got the deal done so quick.

Can we acknowledge hiw awesome JC is for not agreeing to another offer sheet? Dude willingly took a discount to stay with the Lakers. I love this kid.
