    Aren't arenas sold out already? TV ratings are great. Merchandise sells like crazy.

    That argument was appropriate for Bird and the 80s and Yao Ming bringing the game to China. I don't see a need any more. It's global and in every living room.

    i'm grasping. i think the generation of folks who might have cared is largely past interest in basketball.
