    Nailed it.
Boston is not getting reamed for making bad choices, apparently the media can only talk about how they had so many picks.

Sac has to be the biggest head scratcher. You have Boogie and WCS and you draft big men. So are they taking Boogie or?

Love what Denver did last night.
Hawks were determined to shore up their wing positions with Korver done, Baze possibly gone, and a void still existing from Carroll's departure. Mission accomplished.

Kings were hilarious. They didn't work out a single player. Vlade must value rookies less than Phil did when he was a coach. Jesus!

GS and SA both had great luck and talent fell right in their laps.

Boston...yikes! I like Brown, he'll have a good career, but they could've done better and more (via a trade).

I like the Minny's haul too, if they hold on to it.

What's absolutely insane to me is that the Kings COULDN'T work anybody out. Every agent refused to let their players work out for that organization. People LITERALLY are refusing to go there... Sad kind of... I don't know what it feels like to be a Queens fan and I'm happy about that.

...really that bad, eh? Yeeesh. On paper, they are not a bad team but as a group they are a combination of volatile personalities all the way up to management.

Yeah the negativity around that organization is so strong, agents are refusing to help their players get there. It's really pretty shocking. They showed a graphic during the draft where only ONE of the major prospects worked out for Sacramento and he was someone expected to go in the teens after the #8 pick spot.

It's a really sad state. People around the NBA say it's the worst run organization in all of sports.

I'll see you a point guard that doesn't pass, and raise you a centre that doesn't rebound at all.

Minnesota is a team to watch out for. KAT, Wiggins, and Dunn (3rd best player in the draft, IMO) with a great defensive coach. Rubio and Lavine are serviceable. Not only will they make the playoffs next year, they could get to the 2nd round if the pieces fall in place.

I would add OKC to the winners list. Ibaka became more expendable with the emergence of Adams, and adding Oladipo gives them a reliable scorer aside from just Durant and Westbrook, plus he's a pretty good defender. They also got Ilyasova who can either be a solid dirty work backup for them, or they can let go to create cap room, and got to draft another skilled big in Sabonis. Eventually you could see a lineup of Westbrook, Oladipo, Durant, Sabonis, Adams/Kanter, they're deeper than last season with that one move.

^Yes, Oladipo provides another player who can create on his own plus isn't a shabby defender. They also have Waiters who showed discipline and the reliable Roberson.

Very true. The more I got away from the trade the more I liked it for OKC. They do a great job of turning their players into packages of decent guys. It does hammer home the point though that they'll probably never pay for a winner. They'll just keep shuffling.

Still, good for them and bad for the Magic. I like Serge, but that was quite a package to give up.

...on NBA TV last night, Ibaka was reported to want a bigger role on offense. Not happening in OKC. Loved taking the treys now, no face-up mid J as much or a back to the basket move. Maybe in Orlando, Ibaka can showcase everything he thinks he has...play to a big contract which The Thunder did not want to end up dealing with.

Well they'll have to address Oladipo soon and Adams as well. When that happens I wonder very much what they do next. But if Ibaka wanted to be a bigger part of the team, then see you later. I think he's hit his peak. I don't see much more than what he's got and in fact his expanded offensive attempts have taken away from the rest of his game.

Agreed...wasn't too long ago it seems when Ibaka was mentioned as one of the better defensive bigs in The League.

didn't they lock up adams last year? i think he's getting 10-12 per for the next four years. win.

i like gs's draft, btw. jones and mccaw are the kind of players you put at the end of your bench to develop while you're busy winning.

No Adams is still on his rookie deal. He's under contract for just over 2 million dollars. How about that?

Yeah, in the Western Conference, it's us and them.

    Russell - Dunn
    Clarkson - Lavine
    Ingram - Wiggins
    Randle - Towns

It's going to fun to watch in 2-3 years.
