The only thing about Simmons I respect is that he's true to his convictions. He doesn't waffle about what he thinks. He's also a hard worker and works towards his visions with great focus. However, he is an arrogant, self appreciating toolbox, a Laker hater, and I dislike his face.
I'd be a bit "dour" too if I just came off a blown 3-1 advantage in The Finals...then have to face the media most of whom are ready/expecting to see him deal with hard times or fail. Maybe Simmons was expecting a Barney The Dinosaur act? Dumbs**t... Walton as nice as he is probably does not have patience for the mind games and just wants to get to work. He wants to prove himself after not being credited for managing the great Golden State start with Kerr out.
a defensive minded assistant is a must only problem is i'm not sure there are any decent ones available
I know the youngin's are dying to get to work, and that's great. But honestly, we should let Luke relax for at least a few weeks.
He should definitely coach the summer league team like Steve Kerr did when he first took the Warriors job
Greatest tank commander of all time. Thank you Byron. You gifted us Ingram, Russell, Randle, Clarkson, and Larry Nance Jr.
Who made that video? Seriously hilarious. The Ronnie Price sequence was epic. Damn. Scott played it cool at the lottery. Lou Williams on D! Hardenesque. Black scenes were great. So much highlight material in so few minutes.
Doesn't hurt much now. We got Brandon Ingram. Still having a hard time believing that. I was terrified we'd lose that pick or just getting a much more inferior prospect at #2.
I'd say it hurts like a tooth ache. It's not as sharp and painful as it used to be, but there's still a dull ache there. Just knowing that our franchise was brought to its absolute lowest in such an embarrassing way... Hard pill to swallow after so many years of greatness. Even the years that weren't great were at least usually good. It should never get worse than it was then. Having the kids helps take the sting away, but I'll never forget the way we've been dragged through the mud the last three years.
