    with who opted out, they will most likely be doing a roster makeover for new coach

    but Rose, Carmelo, and Zing isn't a bad start if you have 30 million in cap space

    I like the move actually. They won't be contenders, but they're at least interesting now and have money to spend.

    Seems like a terrible deal to me. Knicks traded 3 separate position players that contribute regularly for a guy that will spend half the season on the bench injured.

    I don't think Howard could handle the NY media, they'd tear him to shreds. They're not human there, they go for beyond the low blows, you can't even have a bad game without being called a worthless bum.

    Besides Lopez, I don't think the rest of them had tremendous value. This reserves space for them next year and makes them more interesting to FAs now. It's better than where they were before which is irrelevant.

    ...well all the better then! It could happen... The New York press...Stephen "Agitated" Smith...it would all be so entertaining. In a way, with less pressure Howard could hide behind Anthony, Porzingis and Rose. How long to be determined...

    Don't see how this deal is terrible. Lopez is nice, but Rose is a better player. The other two guys are backups. Rose is still a borderline All Star player. Good deal. They should make the playoffs next season.
