I'm pretty sure everyone on here gave LeBron his props before and after the game. Anyway still don't mlike LeBron outside of the court or the Cavs. Kevin Love is the only one I'm happy to see be a NBA champion, he didn't come off douche like not once. It's the same way people were about Kobe. Hated him but respected his game because they couldn't deny it.

I don't know why people assume it means we're all of a sudden lenient on Boston. I can resent Boston forever, and dislike the Cavs right now.

Still salty about Lebron winning a championship, for really no fault of his, but mainly the media. How many articles am I going to read this summer saying he's better than MJ and Kobe.

    Ugh...

Leading both Finals team in every major statistic is just crazy.

A truly Herculean performance we all thought he was capable of. Sure it took having a closer on his team to get credit for it, but seriously....dang.

    That is extremely impressive.

Someone better go work on their post game though. It's not going to get any easier as he gets older.

Unfortunately, this was the best thing that ever happened for any of the talking heads. Came back from down 3-1 (never done before), did it against a 73 win Golden State Warriors team, and statistically as sirron noted was dominant. Oh, and brought a championship to Cleveland. He's already blown by Kobe on the all time list, that's no longer a debate anymore (in their eyes).

He deserves all the praise he's going to get but I'm not going to listen to it. No BSPN for at least a week (other than the draft).

I'll keep my summary pretty short...

-Warriors handed this to the Cavs on a silver platter. GS had stepped on their throats then stopped to help the Cavs back up, dusted them off, and gave them a pat on the back.
-Kyrie is a baaaad man. He deserved Playoffs/Finals MVP. Without him, Bron would have been at home.
-I hate that all I've heard this morning is this puts Bron on top 5 of all time, on Mt. Rushmore, etc.
-Curry is not the face or best player in this league. I know he was hurt, everyone is hurt by this stage in the season. You can't have that title and shrink like he did. Every opportunity he had to f*** up last night, he sure did. Whether it was a TO or a missed hoop, it was embarrassing. He might be the best shooter in the game today, but that's the only title he deserves. You think for one second Kobe, MJ, Reggie, Bird, etc. (any great shooter/scorer we've had in the league) would not be able to get his team at least one basket in the final 4 minutes of a game 7?

I was ready to fully embrace the GS style of play, thinking you can live by the 3 and not die by it, if you just have REALLY REALLY good shooters. Well even the best shooters have off nights. Unfortunately for GS, it was for 3 straight games. If anything, this Finals basically has me rethinking whether the Lakers should go all in on the GS strategy of play. I don't want us to be humiliated like the dubs were.

Also, this makes me grateful that we had Kobe as leader, no way he would allow such an epic meltdown on the biggest stage.

My sentiments in a nutshell, Barnstable. Man, that was just depressing to see how deeply the NBA and their refs were favoring the Cavs and let so much contact go on their end. But in the end, it's up to the Warriors to rise above and outplay the Cavs which they just did not do. Curry choked in a massive way. Just not a good showing in any of these last few games. That was pretty embarrassing. Yes, he was held, grabbed, hit on shots all the way through. And on the other end, the last two games he got jobbed with phantom and touch foul calls. I don't think I've ever seen a back to back MVP get as poor treatment. But I have seen Kobe get jobbed similarly, and the bottom line is he fought through and didn't make a stink. It's the Finals. Things get weird and tough. You have to play through.

Huge props to Kyrie. He was the best player in this series by a mile. I hate the NBA even more for ignoring him and making the story all about Lebronze and his home coming as usual. Kyrie was the assassin and he could not be stopped. Lebronze had a pretty poor offensive game this night and most of the time couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Until the fourth quarter I don't think he made a single jumper.

This was pretty disappointing to me, but what can you do? In some ways it's actually better for us as Laker fans. GS is human after all and them losing opens things up a bit in the West. Ultimately I'm fine with that, even if I like their team and was rooting for them over the Cavs.

Here's to our rebuild and our poaching Walton! Let's challenge these guys a little next year. Oh yeah, I'm completely over Barnes after seeing him act completely useless out there last night. He seemingly missed every open shot but one, and got destroyed every time he was on Lebronze. Don't want him - he choked big time. And no to Ezeli as well. He sucked.

Damn right he would. To hell or hot water, he'd find a way to not be denied.

This is jaw-dropping. The idea that Kyrie should have been Finals MVP is preposterous.
