lol, so jc and russ are hanging with swaggy, arenas, AND javale? it's like the opposite of hanging with grant hill, shane battier, and tim duncan.

 

Am I the only one worried about giving Clarkson too much? I like the kid, solid talent, but I don't want to cap-strap ourselves on a scorer like that.

 

I'm not worried. The most he can get is $57.8 million over four years. He's definitely worth that.

btw, something i haven't seen mentioned: will clarkson play ball with the lakers and hold off on signing restricted FA deals? the rockets thought parsons would...then he didn't, and it made life difficult for them. similar situation. all the more reason to have all ducks in a row at midnight.

 

Clarkson seems more gracious and appreciative of the opportunity the team gave him. Seems less like the type to make things difficult for the organization than Parsons. I think JC just wants to play hoops. We'll see though, could be wrong.

 

Definitely a Phil sized guard. Makes sense. Waste of his time though, JC isn't going anywhere.
