This is great. A damfony dwight reunion with a beard in the mix. This will be must see TV. I'm glad both of them are no longer affiliated with our beloved purple and gold.
imagine if someone had told dwight after he left LA for houston that the rockets would hire d'antoni a few years later please let him stay. the potential for comedy between those two idiots is through the roof as for harden, i expect he'll be averaging around 50 ppg next season
LOL they already have a 'Fire D'Antoni thread in Rocket forums http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=274918
They'll change their tune I think... D'Antoni fits the new style of the NBA and if they can get the right pieces around Harden he's going to put up some ridiculous numbers next season. D'Antoni has a ton of flaws, but he'll help that franchise maintain their semi-relevance.
I don't know about this one, you can say Howard is bad for 'Antoni, but Harden may be the wrong player for his system too. He's all about quick offense, lots of passing and movement. Harden is all about dribble, dribble, dribble, shoot. I wouldn't have even wanted this job if I'm 'Antoni.
If you don't know it yet, the Rocket fans are the best (or possibly the worst), they anger easily and are brutal about their team. To be fair, Harden, Howard and Lurch will do that to a fanbase. I imagine our gritty past seasons look equally as choleric and angst ridden in post form.
LOL that's great. Yeah this is going to be fun. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/t...ckets-reportedly-hiring-mike-dantoni-as-coach
D'Antoni to Houston is GOLD. LOL. Dwight ran away from him in LA and basically the Rockets are telling Dwight: "We aren't planning with you". Also I think Morey has too many fanboys who believe he is a genious. As far as I can tell, he has failed to form a contender even though he has had a ton of talent at his disposal.
How some people keep getting opportunities is beyond me. I'm shocked anyone even wants to interview Byron Scott.
