Yeah, OKC got shook this game, choaked, and they don't have enough time to shake it off. If OKC wins this game 7 I won't doubt them against Cleveland, but I can't imagine they win it now
You really could see the fear, that exact thought came into my mind when I saw Russ' face with 40 seconds left or so. They are shaken. They can still win game 7 of course, but that snickering at Curry questions after games, thumping your chest confidence is gone. I'm rooting for GS, I can only say so many times I do not trust Durant and Westbrook 1 on 1 vs the Cavs, especially with no homecourt. Also LeBron is Durant's kryptonite, sorry, but he is, he owns that matchup.
Wow, now that was a basketball game tonight. Tough, tough, tough. Just a pleasure to watch. Klay was the man tonight. Monstrous game. Would not let the team die. Every time OKC would make a run and look like they might finish GS, Klay would step up and cut that lead and change the momentum. He was the ultimate warrior today. Steph came through in the fourth as well. Great stuff from the Splash bros and company. KD and Russ are definitely hurting now letting this one slip away. Can GS really win three straight against a Thunder team that destroyed them 2 games in a row before this? Looks like they just might do that. Thunder will go hard, but they have to be a bit disheartened by this game. Home floor and everything. No close out.
The Warriors have so much talent at their disposal. OKC plays hard, but they simply don't have the firepower to match.
What would really be impressive is if Thunder can pull off a win at Oakland. And for me, Luke joining our team asap is more important than Lebron getting another chip. Lakers' success >>> anything else. So I want the Warriors to lose Game 7.
This is why you just can't count out this year's Warriors team man. You just cannot count out a 73 win team. Hell you can't count em out even if they were down 0-3 in the series. They have too many weapons, and if either Klay or Steph are on fire, it's game over. If both are on fire, it's a huge blowout. That was an incredible game, Klay channeled Mamba mode big time tonight
so true...I got into an argument with my coworker about this. Sure, being down 3-1 is rough, but if there was ever a team to win 3 in a row it would be a 73 win team. he came to me after the warriors won tonight and admitted he hadn't given the warriors enough respect when they were down 3-1. he thinks they take it in game 7 now as do i.
Don't buy that. We've seen it in this series. They have two top five talents and when they've shared the ball the Warriors have had a hard time stopping them. Last night they reverted back to what killed them in the regular season.
turnovers killed gs early and okc late. the lone positive for okc is that curry still doesn't look right to me, despite his strong second half. he's having trouble shaking guys; shows how much half a step of quickness is worth at this level. i have no strong rooting preference in this series, but i feel bad for okc. to really play your best ball for 3.87 games...
I think Luke having to go through this adversity with GS is great experience and something he can bring over to LA.
We picked up B Shaw to make sure one of our coaches would be at the workouts. I think we'll be alright with Luke getting more invaluable experience. Lord knows when we get back to that level, our coach will need a steady hand. Nothing like experience to give you the confidence to perform.
People can't count out OKC, with two future HOF's they're gonna be determined to win game 7 and they probably will. GS seem to get comfortable and complacent at home, perfect storm for OKC.
What a game. After a win like that, GS has momentum in their favor. Still, you hope they didn't "blow their wad" so to speak (emotion/intensity). Because you know the Thunder are going to bring desperation and intensity. GS has to match it.
