So the team was horrific defensively and they decide to hire someone who doesn't give a rat's a** about that end of the court. Makes perfect sense.
Just heard a little while ago from J.A. Adande on Mason and Ireland that the thinking going around is that Hornacek may have been more an ownership decision rather than Phil. In which case it seems like this really may be his last year there one way or another.
After a year of Fisher and Rambis...Knick management figures they had given Jackson enough leeway. It could be in the cards that he is gone. I don't think Jackson wants to be just a high profile prop and figurehead.
Magic hiring Vogel is/will be one of the absolute best moves a team could make this off season. Huge get.
^...in a way, I'm glad to see young prospects getting a chance to prove themselves other than the recycled ones.
Mike Brown says Hello as well. 2 of our last 3 coaches. At least Pringles got an interview or two and may be in the running. Whoa .... Harden being called the reason for Houston's coach problem. Taking "some". Says he came into camp out of shape this year and "uninterested" in defense. In his prime no less. http://www.thedreamshake.com/2016/5...s-harden-is-the-rockets-head-coaching-problem
Harden might thrive in Pringles' system since he doesn't play defense anyway. Dwight on the other hand? I really hope he stays now only for pure comedy gold.
