The new season is almost upon us and there is lots to look forward to. We have a lot of people who have been members for years but post none or very little. I’d like to invite those members to be more active this year. You don’t have to be a basketball junkie, just somebody who loves the Lakers.
I was a lurker on ClubLakers for years and never joined. When Lakersball started up, I moved my lurking over to this site. I used to have a lot of friends that were Laker fans and we’d go to games or sports bars to watch. People get busy, life happens and I found myself missing out on sharing my fandom with friends. So I finally joined. I love being able to talk to people during the game chat. I’m not a basketball savant and don’t have nearly the knowledge of basketball that people have on this site but I always liked the doom thread and thought that I could help out with that. So that’s my story. What’s yours? What made you or would make you go from ghoster to poster?
Shaq was talking this week about the best to never win a ring (I don't have the link). He made a good case for Allen Iverson. AI was for sure one of the greatest to never win a ring, but I don't think he was the greatest.
Here are some options:

But, my choice is Elgin Baylor.

Recently I recorded podcasts with the lakerholics and lakersball.com own @OX1947 on his choices for the Top 10 All-Time Lakers (you can catch the @OX1947 episode at https://open.spotify.com/episode/5a2qTeJopj47Vemp3awh6S). Joe and I are doing more shows together and I was hoping to hear from you what your Top 10 All-Time Lakers are and I will read and talk about them on the show!
