There's a lot to live to up to with that number. The likes of Bryon Russell, Chuck Atkins, Laron Profit, Sun Yue, Chris Kaman, Ronnie Price, Deng, and Baze all chose #9.
NVE, Rondo, and Wes Matthews (at times) are the only reason the jersey number has any shred of dignity attached to it.
I think we can be a hit and miss franchise with some of the merchandise and memorabilia we can buy and collect. The Kobe products and his Nike and his shoes was a high point, but sometimes things are just well puzzling.
