He does have oddly short arms.

Not that there's anything wrong with that....

He is the living proof of NBA2k logic:

    T-Rex arms - Awesome shooter
Long arms - Bricklayer but defensive pest

Oh wait, Randle has T-Rex arms too...

They should have let that douche Grayson Allen do it. His ugly, smug, dirty mug almost ruins the whole photo.

And I know it's off topic, but again check out the jersey piping where it cuts off at the armpit again. I'm thinking the $110 icon swingman jerseys theyre selling right now are not the ones the players will be wearing.

Also @Weezy , initially I thought Grayson Allen can't be that bad, can he?...then I recalled who his agent was hahahaa

Maybe the lack of piping on the back is due to those UGLY flaps on all nike jerseys?

:Sunglassguy: .... with these Jesse Buss and the behind the scenes scouting thinking in these interviews. All these guys almost they have been tracking for multiple years. It's surprising to me as much as they clearly wanted Svi and thought he should have gone in the first round .... is that they still took a project in Bonga at 39 eight picks ahead of him. They must really like something they see in him. I agree with all those observations on Svi how he played and his athleticism and decent build and strength he showed in SL. Love Svi. Love Wagner. Torn between them who is more fun to watch play. But they're both on the team. Killer draft AGAIN.

On the heels of a red-hot summer league, Svi Mykhailiuk received plenty of respect from the rest of his draft class.

The sharpshooter was voted the second-best shooter among first-year players, drawing 13 percent of the vote in a tie with Atlanta’s Kevin Huerter.

Only fellow Hawk Trae Young (47 percent) took more votes out of the 36 players

    surveyed by NBA.com
at the annual Rookie Photo Shoot.

...what is telling is that our scouting department that they focused on Svi's other facets such as his defense and the jump in his assists per game.

I think a lot of scouting departments focus too much on potential rather than skills that actually translate to the NBA level. I'm sure a lot of them discounted Svi because of his shorter arms and his senior status, but as we've learned with our other draft picks, upperclassmen have translated to the next level the best with the ability to contribute straight away.

Not only did we find one of the best shooters in the draft, you can probably argue he's probably better than what was available in Free Agency as well. We SHOULD have taken him at 39, instead of Bonga. We were hoping Mitchell Robinson would fall to us there, who looked fantastic in SL, but we got lucky he was there at 47.

Another solid draft from the scouting department, we've become the new Spurs of the draft with these late round gems.

Yes he was mostly terrible. The pick was based on reputation from him catching lightning in a bottle to start the college season. More dynamic? Sure, but I'd take Svi in a shooting competition over Young.

But . . . I thought we didn't have any shooters to play with Lebron? That's what all the pundits kept harping on.

Yeah I was looking at these too just now as notified in my in box of LFR content. Impressive but as others mentioned at the time he clearly travelled on the top one and maybe even on the 2nd one but hard to tell for sure there. Needs to polish and do correctly or will get called in the NBA especially as a rookie. Love me Svi though. Wagner too.
