I disagree. For their first game together they looked pretty good and just wait till they get their chemistry down.

George would be an idiot to leave especially a team like the Lakers.

I doubt it. The more chemistry they get those numbers will improve and they missed a lot of open looks that guys like Carmelo and George usually make.

I still see them being eventually the #2 team in the WC.

yeah, PG is not leaving that situation. one fluke injury to curry or KD and they're the best team in the west

let's just hope our young guys pan out or else we are royally screwed

Eh, Melo was 3-10 on threes, has 1 board, 1 assist, and it was against the Knicks. Melo is the same old player, nothing special anymore, strictly an inefficient scorer. They’re a great team, but they aren’t winning anything of note, not sure they’re even better than Houston.

Besides praying for a playoff spot..ill be happy if we have a better record than the Thunder. They lost to the Nuggs lolz. 4-7. Suck it OKC.

Honestly that team in OKC has bad chemistry. I watched a bunch of their games and you can see it in PGs face that he's not enjoying it there as it would seem. Melo kept chucking along with Russ and George was left waiting for a pass. Too much iso ball on that team. Here George would flourish being the man

Imagine just having Paul George replace Brewer how that second unit would look, as well as the needed shooting in the 1st unit. He could be the man here getting spoon fed looks by Lonzo or sit and watch stuff like this in OKC.....

Boy it must be fun playing with Westbrook. He looks exactly like every hot shot at the YMCA demanding the ball and making pick up games dumb.

It’s a long season and OKC still has time to figure it out, but right now they look like a 7th or 8th seed team at best. Lakers probably won’t make the playoffs, but if they keep competing and can win maybe 30-35 games then George will still consider coming to L.A. especially if OKC can’t figure it out.

Is it bad to feel good that the experiment just isn't working for Oklahoma?

Watching the thunder and their big three screw things up is an eyesore. However, come playoffs assuming they make it there, they remain to be a serious threat to any contending team including the Warriors.

They’re zero threat to the Warriors. Zero.

Honestly even without KD the Warriors would still be the strong favorite to win it all.

The way OKC plays will get them swept by the Warriors. Isolation basketball will get you destroyed. It’ll allow their incredible defense to swarm and then all the long shots will lead to so many easy baskets in transition.
