Yeah. I'm hoping that the similarities end there though. We know how Houston turned out.

Westbrook's midrange and clutch last year was palatable. This year, it's inedible. It's poison.

Well, given I haven't watched him a lot last year but if his game then was anywhere near how he's playing now, HOW THE HELL DID HE END UP WITH THE MVP AWARD?

Now that Russ isn't a real possibility for us, let's call a spade a spade.

He just got his fat contact extension. He got that Jordan brand bag coming in as well. He has other hobbies, like his fashion line and book, that will divest his basketball bite. And he just had a kid.

The dog in him has been muzzled. He has no incentive to bust his a** to get this team to the playoffs...especially cause this isn't the band of brothers that got him to this point in the 1st place.

That being said, why the hell would Georgie and Melo do the same, knowing they got their guaranteed bag waiting for them and an injury and/or a demotion to the bench would be a serious impedance to receiving said bag.

    Let.It.Burn.

Well it can be true especially since with their player rotation, the bench usually share court time with him, him alone among all starters. It was actually Melo in the beginning of the season but for some reason, they turned it around and had PG instead.

This thread from about page 267 on is a really fun read, roller coaster of emotion.

    :Brows:

I don’t expect much to change from here on out, the media is already asking if the Thunder should break up their big 3, gonna be an interesting ride.

    It's either LA or CLE.

About time we discuss hypothetically regarding possible trade deal with OKC, an acceptable one to finally seal the damn deal.

We can still chase for that 8th seed you know.

    I'd throw in Deng.

randle/clarkson for george works salary-wise. you'd be banking on randle and clarkson's productivity and george's lack thereof this year being aberrations or the results of good/poor design.

i'd probably want felton thrown in to give us a backup pg. we'd still have a max slot in the summer, too.

We'd have a more balance roster, though both JC and JR will be missed, PG will definitely put a stop to the scoring void/famine in games...

I'd obviously do it, but that leaves us a HUGE hole at center. Maybe we trade Deng for Mozgov? :D

KCP and Nance and fillers is all we should offer .

Julius and JC are way too much at this point

This was what we were talking about in the summer. Back against the wall I probably make this trade still. It'd be tough to lose Julius when he's playing this well, but having George off-sets a lot of that. I think any deal for George would be centered around Julius probably like it or not.

We'd likely need to move KCP. Maybe KCP/Randle makes more sense.
