Again, after watching this guy and the effort, intensity he gives on defense is making him a fan favorite of mine. I just love this guy and he showed some decent handles during the game breaking down his defender and getting in the paint which is what he excels at besides his defense.

I think we have a real keeper on this team and if he's not on the team next year it will be a tragedy.

That first dunk above was pretty amazing in that the pass and Nwaba's timing, leap and reach / control of the ball all had to be perfect. Like a QB hitting a leaping receiver 5" over the hands of a leaping defender in the corner of the end zone who then drags both feet in bounds with 2 inches to spare.

If he ever gets a jumper, look out. He could be like 2009 Ariza if he gets that.

Lakers assignee David Nwaba tallied a 26-point, 10-rebound double-double, as the D-Fenders’ season came to an abrupt close after cobbling together the second-best regular-season record in franchise history at 34-16. (they lost to the Vipers last night 140 - 127)

watching the Rockets-Spurs game last night I feel like David Nwaba can turn into what Jonathan Simmons does for the Spurs. Simmons' job for the Spurs to start this year was to be that good defender/energy guy coming off the bench. As anyone who watched the game last night his game he has improved particularly that mid-range shot.

I think thats a good comparison and someone who we can hope he turns into. Nwaba is already there defensively just needs to work on his outside shot because he finishes and attacks the basket quite well already.

Dude should just live in the gym and have sleeping bags laid out behind the 3-point line. Maybe even a port-o-potty straight away so he only has to leave the 3 point shooting area for a few seconds.
