I usually like Stephen A but he's off on this one. Of course the best PG's in the league are going to light him up. They light up everybody

he didn't really answer the question either on why he doesn't think he'll live up to the hype....but hey, I'm OK with him not believing in Ball. I want more ppl to not believe in him actually...will make it sweeter when he proves them all wrong.

Lonzo will be fine. I don't have many concerns about him or Kuzma honestly.

Zo will go through the normal rookie growing pains, but he can impact a game in a lot of different ways. We're good.

Not to me. Being injury prone is missing significant time over the course of time much like we’ve seen with Embid.

He’s playing tonight and the way I see it he would’ve played in the pre-season if the games actually mattered.

They don’t. They were being cautious. As they should be.

    8 rebounds at the half.

Needs to be a lot more aggressive on offense. He can get in the paint. Good things happen when he does. Should have shot a lot more.

Instead of discussing the poor coaching and horrid defense, all the talking heads will be going about Lonzo being a "bust" when in reality he didn't have a bad game at all. He could have been more aggressive on offense and shot more, but he rebounded well, got in on plays down low that our big guys won't even get near half the time, and set up his teammates for a lot of layups, they just couldn't convert. Obviously, there's room for improvement, but I've seen worse debuts.

Not a good debut by any measure but still not worried.

He needs to score more and we need to put him in the game with guys who can score.

    Really? By any measure?

I bet I can come up with at least 3.

He has to look to score more, he HAS to. If his teammates can’t make shots, he has to get more on his own. I know that’s not his game, but he’s going to have to add that. Aside from that, thought he played fine, the rebounds were impressive, and not his fault when he hits guys on the break it’s a clank or a missed layup, or a passed up shot like from Nance because he’s scared to shoot.

Ball will be good. But he will be weakened if he has no one to pass to. Unsure, fearful players like we have is not going to help.

I’m sure you could. Maybe I will too tomorrow after I’ve calmed a bit.

Right now it just didn’t feel like a good game. Rebounds I guess?

And I’m absolutely a Ball fan.

    1. Rebounds. Against a very very good rebounding team
    2. Didn't back down or was affected by Suckerly
    3. Got guys a bunch of open looks ... effortlessly at times
    4. Only had 2 turnovers

His % doesn't matter as he only took 6 shots. Should have taken more -- especially floaters with Suckerly on his heap. Probably would have gotten to the line too.
