Outstanding game. When Lonzo is aggressive he's such a fun player to watch. That dunk!! He had 6 assists in the first quarter, too. His D right now is almost a given, which is pretty incredible as he didn't look like such a great defender in college. The passing and ability to push the offense were always there. But he wasn't known for his D at all.

Lonzo is a lot of things...but dumb isn't one of them.

He knows that his D keeps him on the court even with his phases of awful offense. Therefore of course he puts more focus on that end and his size and speed helps him tremendously. Determination to play D, good instincts, good defensive IQ and length is a pretty good combination.

It also helps to have McGee save your bacon whenever you get beat.

He's really good; I'm more open to trading BI because I think Zo can fit around a pair of superstars much, much, better.

Any semblance of a better than average offensive game and he's an All-Star; hands down.

When I first saw that dunk, it looked awfully familiar:

I figured Lonzo got really lit up inside after BI's injury and he was probably thinking "FOR INGRAAAAAAAM!!!" while going for the slam.

The jam was great but it seemed a bit off with the timing. Didn't get as high as he gets and then he landed really off balance. If Lonzo could get more core strength like Hart he'd be a beast with that speed. But looks like he's starting to leverage his body a little more.

No way I trade Lonzo. It'll take another decade or two to find a cornerstone PG like him.

Yup, as I said, that was one of the worst plays I've ever seen. :Laugh:What was he thinking? Clear look at the basket from 9-10 ft, how do you not take the shot? He got scared of the rim?

I remember a similar play within 5 feet from the rim where he jump threw it back out to a teammate... he needs to talk to Sprewell, to learn ferocity of attacking the rim. That's the guy who he almost resemble in hops and athleticism.

He had a great game last night. Then he stinks it up tonight. He's young and inconsistent. This is a game where we could have used Rondo.

Worst plus minus on the team. Completely unvisiball. That shaqtin a fool play... He needs to get slapped every time he turns down a wide open point blank layup like that.... Wtf

He better come out ready next game. He has no credit whatsoever to afford stinkers like this and get away with it.

Kuzma has REALLY stepped up. Lonzo looked like he might too... So this better be an accident.

2nd season, but the guy cannot shoot for sh*t. under 40% FG, 30% 3PG, 50+% FT. Yes, his D improved, but his APG is less then Rondo. Role player- yes, All-Star- not even close.
