I want to argue against you on it, but Luke isn't Magic's hire. It's a possibility. I just feel like Magic wouldn't have a problem going to Luke and telling him what's what.

Sure, most 20 year olds tell their father what to do. :D Lavar is going to do whatever Lavar wants. It’s pretty easily ignored, and it’s certainly not on Lonzo to stop it. Ridiculous.

And how do we know what Lavar is saying now does come from Zo? Question works both ways, it’s unanswerable, silly speciation from a place of disliking the player himself.

It’s very easy if you don’t give a s*** about the “noise”. What does noise do? How the hell does Screamin’ A affect my life? All I care about is the actual team, and winning. But if we can’t do that yet, I’ll still enjoy the games as entertainment, and watching the young players progress.

I'm not disputing Lonzo is disgusted. What I'm disputing is the 2nd part of what I quoted from the article 2 pages ago that Lonzo feels this way below and would say it to his father who has to be embarrassing him by now with his unhinged actions and words to any media that will listen to him.

"The Lakers should build around Lonzo. Why are they sitting him down and not starting him [in] the fourth quarter? This is why the record is raggedy."

A son can respect the heck out of his pops but still have his own opinion on the matter. Lavar is just trying to shield his son's struggles and deflecting it towards Luke. Again, I have no problem with Lavar commenting on his son and what Zo has to do to be successful. But when you target the Lakers, coaching and Zo's teammates, that's a slippery slope and even if I agree with some of what Lavar says, it shouldn't be said in a public forum. That s*** needs to be behind closed doors, cause now you got an impressionable young team questioning their coach cause their potential star player's Pops is. All this coming as our schedule becomes a gauntlet. This isn't the Shaq-Kobe team that is loaded with vets and championship pedigree....this team cannot and should not handle these types of distractions.

    K, I think you're reaching here.

Punk, I think you're reaching too. Haha. Magic has no problem lighting into coaches if he has a problem with them. He ain't going to duck Luke. He has no reason to, cause like others have said, Luke wasn't his hire.

100% with you on this. But my personal opinion is he IS the good son and things had been working pretty well up until about a month ago so Lonzo keeps his mouth shut and trusts his dad. But with LaVar jumping the shark for the past month with irrational actions, starting with pulling Melo from HS because he didn't like hearing the coach saying he shouldn't be firing up 30 or whatever shots a game, through the whole unseemly China incident and Pops's response to it to now pulling Gelo out of a scholarship at UCLA ..... I do agree Zo needs to grow a pair and tell his dad to STFU with regard to his own career, in the media.

Would you pull your son out of his junior year of high school because his basketball coach said he shouldn't be jacking up 30-40 shots a game?
