Hand Checking In The 04 Finals

    I read an article recently that mentioned the Pistons incorporated Hand checking in the 04 Finals.

    I wasn't sure if this was true. I don't really remember.

    Was it? i know hand checking officially stopped in 04

    read some people discussing it and some were saying that they were running the zone and hand checking,

    others saying the hand checking wasn't relevant because they weren't hand checking hard enough.

    There was a lot of fouls called that shouldn't have been called. Similar to 2008 against Boston.

    But we lost mostly due to injuries to our frontcourt.

    my bad, i don't have the article, but it mentioned the pistons running zone and hand checking?

    im not sure if thats completely accurate.


    edit: i read it a week ago and it just came to mind watching some old jelly bean highlights
