Have you beaten the game yet? I finally beat it after putting in 77 hours of gameplay right now.

Gameplay wise, it's the best by far. Love how the open world allows you the freedom to approach missions in whatever way you wanted to. But it's so much different from other games in the series. There is SO much gameplay and the story is kinda infrequent. It's an interesting choice compared to the previous games that were more linear and cutscene heavy. IMO it works and is probably the game in the series I've most enjoyed so far.

Yeah I'm only halfway through. The open world does adds a new feel to the series. Although I do like this MGS the best as well, I've always been a huge fan of story driven rpgs which is why I have high regard for part IV for its play and story combined, although story wise part 1 takes the cake.

Come back here and post when you beat the game. I'm curious what you think of the ending.

I finally started Witcher 3. It's cool the first couple of hours I played it but now the side missions are starting to get repetitive. And I feel need to these side missions to gain XP just to gain levels to finish off parts of the main questline.

I still like it though. I love this series. The combat this time is improved but it still predicated on a ton of rolling around to dodge attacks. Maybe I just got so used to the precise / tight close quarters combat of the Souls series.

I'll try to finish this ASAP. I've been itching to play Phantom Pain.

I rented Battlefront. Really liked it, but...

Fallout 4 is ruling my free time right now. Hit level 35 today. Loving it.

I have a 360 that hasn't been turned on in 3 months. This is literally the longest stretch I've ever had not playing any video games

Had to stop playing. Power outage killed my computer. T_T probably about halfway through the game.

Witcher 3 won game of the year btw. It's crazy good. If you're an rpg fan, or open world game fan, its a can't miss.

I'm not sure if you guys are console gamers or computer gamers but I will say if you have a good computer, its computer hands down the better experience. I use to be a console gamer only but I've completely shifted. A good computer will be vastly superior to a console allow you to run drop dead gorgeous settings that consoles can not handle. Not only that but some games have mods, which allow you to alter the game to your liking. Offering new experiences, new content, or just simply making the game better.

Here's an example. First video is standard unmodded Skyrim. Second video, is moderately modded Skyrim. I say moderately because a better computer will be able to handle even more graphically intense mods.

Not every game has the modding potential that Skyrim does, but you get the idea.

I've spent the last 15 hours in Fallout 4 building stuff. I'm currently level 74 and I haven't even finished the story yet after 135 hours.

I was going to get Fallout 4 on my PC, but I discovered viruses, so I didn't want to download anything new. Told my friend, and so my friend purchased a new 1TB XBox One so he can buy Fallout 4 and he's sending me his 500GB XBox One as a gift because he wants me to play Fallout 4 so badly.

LOL, this game must be insane!!

My descent into Fallout 4 should start in a few days when it arrives.

You guys are killing me. I've been waiting to start FO4 because once I do I'll get immersed and ignore all other games. Haven't even heard about the "settlers" aspect. Sounds interesting.

I have 29 out of the 30 settlements but Sanctuary Hills is the only one I've actually done anything significant to. The max per settlement is 22 people but you have to have 12 charisma to get there which you can get through a bobblehead and armor. I have 230 settlers and pretty much all of the other settlements have the exclamation symbol since they need more beds, resources and defense.

If you really trust your friend and you have good Internet then you should look into gamesharing. I've been doing it with a friend since day one and it saves a lot of money. We only need to buy one copy of a game digitally and we both get to play at the same time. The downside is that if Xbox Live goes down or you lose Internet for some reason, then you can't play the games you bought with your own account. Your friend will be able to play them but you can't and vice versa.

How far do you have to get into the story before you can just go sandbox mode and build, explore, and screw around as much as you want without missing out on stuff?

Good question - because I'm slacking big time on missions. I tend to do them only when they don't seem to be main missions, the game says I'm about to miss out on doing them, or I'm close to a level and want quick XP.

If you guys are playing Fallout 4 on console, your missing out big time. Bestheda games are the most mod supported games out there.

FO4 just came out, and there are already over 4000 mods for it on Nexus.

Maybe we are missing out. I don't know, but I think it's an awesome game as is.

Wow you guys surpassed me quick. Haven't played much last 2 weeks because of computer issues, and I come in here to find half the people here have played more hours and are higher level than I am.
