His pops was one of the most intelligent basketball players to ever play. He has those genes too.

Since he was able to take a team of vets 43-3, an NBA record, including a 24-0 run to start and what we added are mostly vets, goofy a lot as a few of them may be, I'm gonna extend Luke a little bit of trust here. I understand that was a team of vets that ran smoothly already but it takes expertise to run a team like that too. Luke doesn't rule with an iron fist, he'll let these guys work out issues themselves as they arise and this will make guys like Rondo, Stevenson (McGee, not so much) stand up and take pride and responsibility for their team. Lebuffer is there too when needed. Luke is chill, agro-types do well with guys like that. He may listen to Grateful Dead albums and smoke a little more weed than last season, sure. May even make the odd call to uncle Phil but he'll be just fine.

Luke's biggest job this season will be managing personalities, when to let the kids run wild and when to lean on the vets. The X's and O's will come. It helps having player coaches in Lebron and Rondo out there.

We aren't following GSW's philosophies. We ran lots of high PnR and ISOs with very little weakside movement, which is exactly what Kerr avoids.

I actually watched an entire game live where we didn't call a single play (Luke or the point guard brining the ball up), and we got blown out. In fact Ingram was quoted saying that we don't have an offense beyond trying to push the ball in transition, which obviously doesn't always work.

I wonder what he meant by "what could have been in our relationship". Were there any issues we don't know about? That would actually make me feel a lot better about losing him, even though losing him for nothing was still a mistake no matter the circumstances.

Don't read too much into it. Luke often times loved pushing and working with Randle last year. He knew he was always tougher on him than most players because he saw the potential in Randle.

I don't care what he says in a quote, he's going to miss and we're going to miss what he brings and that versatility.

He said it'll be tough to see Randle go and that he wishes him the best. I agree with that.

I also agree with Luke: there's no point in dwelling on the players who we lost to get here: D'Angelo, Clarkson, Julius, and Larry especially. I love most of those guys, but we've got a new thing going and a bright future to look forward to.

Luke and the FO don't have to deal with the mintzgraine any longer, is how I read it.

May that dude forever burn in NBA purgatory. Looking at his client list, I can see LA having no interactions with this dude for the foreseeable future...unless y'all want Grayson Allen (btw that partnership is too perfect, ain't it?)

For the last time, f*** that guy and f*** his clients. Jules, sorry, not sorry...your bad in keeping douches around ya.

    All for attention

    You know this

    I know this

But we all WANT to believe otherwise.

I get it. I just don't fall for it so easily.

The athletes that do these things and don't publicize it or have "their people" publicize it, those are the real OG's.

But the net result is a difference is being made, so it's shallow hate. I confess it completely.

    WWSS?

    (What would Skip Say?)
