I take back what I said earlier about Ingram being a mouth-breather. I've been listening to his post-game interviews, and he sounds a lot sharper than I realized. Guess he's coming out of his shell more. It doesn't hurt that he's currently killing it in pre-season.

I actually think playing/starting next to LeBron can push him to have fewer nights where he drifts and isn’t as engaged. Just the way LeBron likes to push the pace, but in the halfcourt is always looking for guys to move/cut, get open for 3. I don’t think LeBron is going to let him get complacent and take large chunks of time off. We have seen already that he’s looking for him a lot around the hoop for easy baskets. I don’t expect a crazy huge jump in scoring for BI, but I do think this year is the year that 20 ppg is reasonable.

He also was never a mouth breather. Chauncey Billups was a mouth breather.

Speaking of an old Piston, I had a day dream of Ingram working out with Rip Hamilton to really learn how to take advantage of cutting, screens, and constant movement to get in a position to receive the ball for an easy score. No one was better at that than Rip.

Working out with him is probably just a fantasy though

Speaking of the old Pistons once more... some here wanted him to be Prince 2.0 ;) Can we all agree, that's his floor now?

He still hasn't hit a 3-pointer this pre-season. His mid-range looks good; and he missed some bunnies the last game. He's better as an off-ball option by leaps and bounds; Luke needs to put him in positions to succeed; so for now, free-throw line extended down. Cuts, moving him off of screens, and creating mismatches for him...
