Sooooo...in all my time here, this is the first time I realized that Artest gif is a representation of "tongue in cheek." I always thought it meant something, shall we say, a lot more vulgar.

Thing is Caruso is making the most of his opportunity and showing himself to be a capable backup. He’s shown enough to justify bringing him back.

I don't know. Add KCP to that list. Obviously a max player himself.

Not sure if I need to get smarter, or if I need to get my head out of the gutter.

Magic put supersoldier formula in Caruso's Rogaine.

Another nice game by Al3x. Lots of assists, played some good D once again. He's a NBA player for sure.

We need to sit him before he’s out of our price range. Maginka probably gonna let this one go.

Love what he's doing...but like others have said...there's absolutely zero pressure to win these games and nothing to play for....why do you think mental midgets like KCP McGee and such are playing so well all of a sudden? No pressure. THat's why.

I'm not 100% on bringing him back as the primary backup PG, but I don't see why he can't be the 3rd PG/5th guard off the bench since he has enough length to guard SG's, even smaller SF's.

Definitely deserves a roster spot for next year IMo. Must, cheap, re-sign.

Alex is a hard worker and has had a tough basketball career so far. If he can shoot well, he is going to be an NBA player and if not then not.

IMO he is a solid overall guard....jack of all trades, master of none. All he needs to do is knock down that critical 3 ball to space the floor. Given that Lonzo isn't a good shooter, we do need the backups to be floor spacers.

I dont buy into the late season #'s but I will say he does deserve a true shot at making the team on a regular basis next season. I too dont want Rondo back but we will need at least 2 competent backup PG with Mr. Glass as our starter and all

Caruso strikes me as a Spurs type of player. Plays hard and to the best of his availability while he’s out on the court. I definitely want him back next year as a 3rd point guard. He can fight for the opportunity to move up to backup PG based on his play.

Yes we know. But he went out there and put them up this year, where he is now as an NBA prospect, over a nice sample size of playing time finally, and against a number of playoff teams. He was in upper 5% in the league if I remember correctly, in unchallenged catch and shoot 3s with a number of them taken. He stayed improving his game and was ready and stepped up. Has enough athleticism, sharp passes, plays defense, has size, is enough of a leaper to jam the rock with authority and decent handles.
