Tough to see Denver recovering from this . Malone is stupid for playing Jokic so many minutes without getting him a rest though ( even if Plumlee sucked in this game). Nuggets made some mistakes down the stretch and during some OT's . They should have won the game .
the back and forth was incredible, and both teams alternately had chances to make or miss, and it went to 4 OT's. I saw a LOT of mental resolve, and I think the series will continue to be close. Might go 7 games, or someone might collapse, but either way, I think a game like that can impact the next series for sure if they get in a recovery deficit situation.
The Allstar game... 164 threes without an OT... basketball has been ruined forever. Some rule changes will have to happen for this trend to stop.
i think the hou/gs series will force the league's hand to make some tough choices on the direction of the game. the pendulum has swung too far in favor of flopping and flinging. we don't want the mid '90s heat/knicks, but we don't want this s***, either.
Stotts made the great move of going to Hood late, any decent bench player could have finish that game off since all the starters had mud for legs
I agree with your assessment of Curry. He plays crap defense and then when it reaches on D and it’s clear that he fouls and he complains. Super annoying. The blown layup and the dumb attempt at a dunk, which he missed, just seems like something a scrub would do not an Allstar. The last thing is the lackadaisical way he plays at times like he has adult onset attention deficit disorder... inbounds pass he didn’t expect Chris Paul (who I hate with every fiber of my being) to be right there so he travels. Dumb! Finally, Klay is a fantastic player but he is not a max player. This season has shown me that.
So predictable. I’d have bet everything I own Houston was going to win this game, another opportunity blown by GS to effectively end this series going up 3-0. I see it easily going back to GS 2-2.
