Well here we are again. A year after falling out of the playoffs and losing to the damn Suns a new season is upon us. The WMC committee was waiting for the right time to start a new and... "the Eagle has left the building" seems as good a time.

For the new kids this thread is for your irrational hate that would make zero sense anywhere else. It is for the seething questions you have about the way our team plays in the wrong color shoes. It is for whatever your complaining hearts desire.

So here we have it the official complain thread where you can wax unpoetically about how horrible things are in Lakers land. The season is around the corner and we fans must be ready to hate on our squad like never before. Without further delay I give you.....

    WMC Thread 21-22

i imagine i'll visit this thread bi-weekly, detailing how there's 9 million on our roster that failed to win a game that the eagle would have landed.

Lost our 2 best defensive defenders .

    Bazemore sucks
    Ariza is WASHED
    Ellington , can't tell
    Dwight is fine .

I was right when I said Vogel will be gone by mid-season and Fizdale will replace him .

Well , we reach the point when Bron playing GM is bad for your team

I don't think Caruso was a Lebron casualty. That seemed like Jeanie tightening the purse strings and going full small market.

Assuming THT comes back and with Dwight that helps with continuity but I'm still pissed about Caruso.

Westbrook is not a smart basketball player and the Lakers just lost two of the best in the league in AC and KCP in terms of basketball IQ (AC more then KCP but KCP was an excellent defender as well). Having people around for a few years means you can get more stuff out of James passing ability and smarts (all those Caruso cuts)

It's a result of the Russ deal which was initiated by Bron and AD

folks wanted a 3rd star, when 3rd star makes nearly 50M/yr you have to be cautious with the tax issues

Something which isn't discussed enough .

Why the hell the team is changing so much every season ?

Like the rest of you, I don't get the Caruso transaction. For the price, it seems kind of a senseless loss for this team, but I'm no cap expert.

But I feel like if LBJ/Davis are truly healthy, we're favorites to win the West. So I'd say losing Caruso and KCP ultimately won't change our ticket getting there. Not saying there isn't a price losing those players - I just like our chances if our main guys are healthy.

I think very well the Lakers still win this title but not with this current makeup but it's doubtful Pelinka is done.

That being said the reason I love James is the way he sees the court and we're swapping out guys who do all those fun little things when you play (cut, help when a guy gets behind, run on a loose ball). It's always nicer when players you like win and losing both Caruso/KCP just hurts for those reasons. I'm going to pull my hair out watching Westbrook pull up for something stupi

Ariza is back. Should we look into Artest and LO too?

Yep. It was a very bittersweet day. I love the signings but I hate that we let AC Fresh go. This one hurts.

Yea he was one of my favorite Lakers for sure but in the end I got to trust Rob and the crew doing what will get us back to the finals. My gut says though if the FO had to choose between THT and the Eagle I imagine THT's upside would win out. I hope he makes a big leap because yea Alex gone is a huge loss for me as a fan of his.

Vogel is a defensive guy , none of these perimeter "recruits" can defend .

He'll be the scapegoat in case of a so-so start
