Ham’s strength may be in his relationships with his players, but there is A LOT more to being a good Head Coach in the NBA. He’s awful.
Knew it. If they think they can just turn it on when they feel like it (especially after this IST title), they're in for a surprise. We're still not good enough to coast thru RS. Few dumb loses and play-in here we come
Yeah Lebron certainly loves ending up in the play-in for someone who called it a dumb idea . I can see the Rockets falling off the standings a bit but the others teams currently ahead of us will finish with a better record than us I think . We'll play the 7-8 matchup again
i've been talking about this game for weeks. knew it was coming. when i saw AD and cam and russell were out, i didn't even watch.
We were just early recruiting Wemby. Can't say I blame them. Don't sign your extension kid. We'll hook you up.
At full strength. The Pelicans have been pretty good lately, besides that beat down the Lakers put on them in Vegas.
Even with the Spurs awful record, that was a predictable loss. We're down a few starters, including AD who may not be the best player on the team but is the most indispensable. These 2-games series against the same opponent always end up being weird, the better team seems to never just win both comfortably. I'd hoped the team would (health permitting) want to rack up some regular season wins so they could coast the last month of the season like the Nuggets did last year. Instead, it seems like we'll hover somewhere between 7th and 4th until at least February and maybe try to push into the Top 3 after the All-Star break.
wasted two great performances from lebron and AD once again, ham is a f***ing moron. how are you going to play prince 38 minutes when he's bricking 3 after 3 and only give rui 17 minutes? absolutely ridiculous. and there's zero reason why prince should be taking 13 3s to begin with if this team wants any chance of making the playoffs straight up and not having to fight for their lives just to make the play-in again, then ham needs to go or they need to make a trade. or better yet, both
why do we always struggle with the knicks. they don't even have robinson. you have to beat them at home. not sure what to say, i guess the IST hangover is real?
Ok, being objective, one of the past main indicators of how good a team is the point differential on the season. Like any stat, there are exceptions, and yes, it's early, but who does it say are the actual contenders as of today? East: As of right now, there are 3 teams to beat. Boston, Phili, and Milwaukee. 2 outliers are Orlando and NY. This seems pretty accurate so far. West: Top 5 differential are Minny, OKC, Denver, Clippers, and Rockets Our point differential is +0.3. So while we might be able to get up for big games, we kind of are what we are right now. We're an eighth place barely in the playoff bubble team that needs to make major improvements in order to be a true contender.
