After they went on 7-0, Bron was starting to walk to the bench. Any coach would call a timeout then. Not Darv. As with everything, late on reacting.

Can't beat Denver. They're too good.

I'm also sick of them beating us on every significant home game we have. Just raining on every special moment we have.

Finally f*** Mikey Malone. Anyone else see when he and the fan front row were face to face? 7 minutes or so left, I think. I want to buy that fan a beer. Was really hoping it'd come to fists being thrown.

I can’t stand the mentality of this team. They think teams are going to just roll over because they’re the Almighty Lakers. It’s pathetic. They do brain dead things in the clutch and take ill advised shoots. They are just so lazy.

Missed him and the fan but I’m sure it will pop up online.

too bad our players don’t have that kind of fire down the stretch.

7:47 when Bron is at the line shooting the and 1 and Mikey is pissed over them not getting the same whistle the play before.

Fan said something to him and was smiling. Camera cut to Bron shooting and then as it zooms out you can see the face to face discussion and the ref right there.

He got out coached by Malone again.

They took advantage of Rui guarding the PnR screener and when Murray turned the corner Rui didn't know what to do. Ham needs to switch AD after they did that the first time

DLo is tough because Murray was headhunting him like crazy when they made their comeback

This. Denver seemingly has that extra level in their play that we can't match.

They always seem to be able to pull off these scoring streaks that Ham is allergic to call TO's for. It's annoying AF that we keep losing to them like this though. It was close for the majority of the game, but then we get blown out.

There's always something against Denver: MPJ not missing any shots and Jokic getting lucy backboard shot over great defense by AD again.
Just no margin of error against them

Not getting someone specifically to counter Jokic (i.e. Dwight type) remains a very bizarre decision by the FO.

have the lakers won any nationally televised "marquee" games outside of the playoffs since lebron came here?

seems like every time he reaches a milestone, they lose

    kobe statue game? loss

first game after kobe's death? loss

not to mention all the opening night losses

Yeah but who was available after who we needed to sign and bring back? Biyombo bet on himself getting more than vet minimum. Unless there was someone big enough to bang Jokic and make him work, and who had some level of skill and could be had for Prince money. They knew we would miss Schroder and did best to replace him with Vincent for the mid level money.

That guy doesn't exist in the whole league .. plus Jokic is a champion and double MVP now , refs won't allow physical defense on him anymore

Every team we play has a player with a historical night against us.

    It's really old.

Teams get up to play us. Always have and always will. Especially on a night like last night where LeBron was going to set the record.

Nuggets continue to have the best 2 to 3 playing guys on the floor down the stretch of these guys and that’s why we keep losing to them.

I can say a lot about different things we tried and didn’t try but bottom line for me is that we were right there with them until the end and then their stars stepped up and didn’t let their team lose.

But Ham doesn't Help. And when you're defense only has to guard 4 players and muck up the spacing with Reddish out there, it doesn't help. If you go down, you go down with your best players particularly playing that night.

By the way, this is a team (Nuggets) I get more angry when we didn't sign Caruso. This is a game w/him we probably can scrape out; he had could be on Murray's chest for 30 mins while not being an offensive liability.

Either way, I don't expect us to do anything tis season. I'm interested in the summer.

Sure. As I’ve said a few times, I don’t like some of the moves made.

But, these games have all been winnable down the stretch. Thats the time when your big guns carry you to a win. And that’s what the Nuggets guys are doing.

I’d feel differently if these were blowouts or something but they pull away like clockwork with a couple of minutes left with their big guns hitting clutch shot after clutch shot and ours disappearing.

Bro, they're just a better team. Irrespective of the score, they coast for 3 quarters, and kick our a$$ when the game is on the line.

If they decided to really put it on us, we're losing by double digits. We're not beating this team with this iteration of this team, EVER.

Nuggets are champions for a reason .. Jokic is the best player in the league by a significant margin , Murray is a baller in big games and their team is just bigger than the others

Then there shouldn’t be any criticism of Ham

And I’m not trying to be difficult here.

If they are just better then there’s nothing that can be done so everyone should just let it go and not be critical of anything around the games.
