    First of all, we had Wesley Johnson hear for 2 years as a reclamation project. While I was initially excited we acquired him because of his untapped potential, he just didn't belong here. We tried starting him, bringing him off the bench; heck, he even trained an offseason with Kobe and couldn't get it together. Scott attempted to instill confidence in him. So did Kobe. He just didn't have it between the ears. He has all the all athleticism in the world with a .002 cent brain and would resort to doing the dumbest things on the court.

    While there might be some validity to what he's saying I'm glad he's gone. Have fun, Clippers fans. Good luck...

    Oh f*** him. If the Lakers hadn't picked him up, he would have probably been out of the league. He had his shot to turn things around here, to live up to more of his athletic potential, his draft position, however you want to look at it, but he's a dumb basketball player. He plays dumb, he's seriously lacking in the smarts of the game. When he came to LA he was all smiles and optimistic too, and so were many of us, and then he sucked. So good luck with the worst franchise in NBA history, thanks for costing us a few games single-handedly and getting us Randle and Russell, and eff off.

    I always hate statements like that from players taking shots at their former teams. You were a part of the team too Wes. You had every opportunity to step up as a leader and guide the younger guys around you. You didn't touch the ball sometimes because your teammates and the coaching staff knew there was a good chance that you would do something stupid.

    Good riddance. If nothing else, I'm happy this offseason let us get rid of a few cancers like him and Nash.

    this loser's in the same boat as smush parker

    yeah the past couple seasons were awful but when you were probably the worst player on those god awful teams, just do everyone a favour and keep your mouth shut. this guy was horrible, and i mean horrible in his few years with the lakers and saying he was the worst player on those historically bad teams really says something

    So, Wes was moronic on the court and now he's continuing to be moronic off of it. Congrats Wes. Good friggin' riddance. As said, all the athleticism in the world, but like the Scarecrow he just didn't have a brain. I hope he makes some more head scratching plays for the Paper Clips.

    Sometimes one can regret things said out loud later, but it occurs to me you have to be smart enough to know what you said was stupid in order to regret it.
