So I currently have a GTX 770 and it struggling a bit with some heavily modded games I play. Only getting about 30 fps (I have a I7 4770k, 16gb ram for reference). Was thinking about upgrading but I have some questions for the computer experts.

    1. Is it a good time to upgrade? Or should I wait a bit.

    2. From the research I've done it seems like the best bang for the buck the the level of performance and price range I want is the GTX 970.

    3. I need help choosing which GTX970 if I go with that one. There are so many difference brands (gigabye, evga, etc) and some many different types with all sorts of abbreviations I know nothing about.

    4. I have a 750 watt power supply right now, is that sufficient?

I saw some 390x's on sale for $370 on newegg. That's 980 level performance at a much lower price point. I have the 290x, which is an older version of the same card, and it performs beautifully. Not sure if you're still looking though.
