It's too bad all our players are so good they don't seek Kobe's help with footwork, back to basket, knowledge, etc.
It was a thing of beauty. One of how many (??) such finely honed moves he practiced endlessly while still healthy.
Damn ....could we use "pre-achilles" 16 year vet Kobe Bryant this year with this roster to be used by Luke, and scheme with Luke. The Kobe, after wanting to play on Pluto, who realized with finally some talent around him that it was on him to lead and make everyone better. Fun fun fun!! Both being fans of the Triangle in its day with Phil and similar ball moving motion "cousins" on offense. Kobe didn't "shot" too much when he knew he had to have everyone else clicking as well. But there was some real ice in those veins.
How many multi thousands of times did Kobe repeat and practice not only that beautiful move and shot, but all of his vast arsenal of offensive moves and shooting strokes in all the different types. Have any of our young guys "perfected" even one "go to" move yet where they aren't hot and cold with it on a weekly or even nightly basis? Lou and Nick clearly have .... with their considerable repertoire each. Randle and DAR for instance seem like they can get that penetrate and step back J inside the key area any time they want. Would seem an easy and obvious option for both to perfect beyond where they're at with it now % wise.
