    So the talk is continuing.

What could we better do to recognise our history?

How have we acknowledged George Mikan? Have we retired his number?

Rondo was a better player in 2008, he was more valuable in 2020.

Being an NBA fan outside of the USA is not easy. The youtube/facebook/twitter era has obviously helped closed the gap a lot.

Really stupid question on Rachel’s part, simple as that. This banner hangs in Staples right next to the other title banners

Only reason there aren’t 5 separate ones is probably because there’s only so much wall space in the building. I guess they could make 5 small individual banners the size of this one banner, but why? Conveys the same message. Mikan’s jersey should probably hang on it’s own separate from the collective players mention one OX posted, but it doesn’t currently, doesn’t seem like a huge deal to me. Still, dumb question posed by her (unless she only asked it to get these answers and put it rest for good, but I doubt it) and it’s only coming up now because we finally tied the C Bags, I’m just glad Jackie the C Bags homer answered how she did. The team didn’t change, they relocated, it happens, it happened with The Dodgers, it’s the same team, same history.

Mikan’s jersey should hang on its own. He was once Mr Basketball and Mr Laker.

    This,

Given that most of us here are LA natives or were at some point Mikan and the other Minneapolis they were always hanging in the rafters.

I always felt like they should have retired Mikan but I think it also means they have to retire Pollard and duplicate #s might be an issue.
