Hard to tank when you have good talent on the team. They should have gutted more at the deadline.

Lauri, Clarkson and Kessler have been too good. Should have tried to get picks for Sexton, JC and Olynyk

i'm not sure that's good talent. you're talking about 2 guys who have bounced around and probably would be tough to bill as #3 guys in most settings.

i just think their coach didn't get the memo and wanted to show his stuff.

iow, i don't know how much more stripped-down they could get to start the year. i thought they'd move conley, so maybe that. but they pretty much had a complete firesale. nobody saw this coming, including probably danny ainge.

if they return that team next year, i bet they finish 14th.

Just need to take of business. Win as much as possible. And hopefully to not depend on other teams for help when season is getting close to finishing

JC is putting up better numbers than the year he won 6moty. Lauri is in contention for most improved. Kessler is second for roty

don't see how this negates anything i said. jc is a good bench player. markannen is better than he was before (when he was traded thrice). kessler is a fun oddity who will follow the rudy trajectory as unplayable in important moments because he can't turn his hips.

utah doesn't have great nba talent. they have a coach who devised a system to win with what he had at an impressive-but-somehow-also-meh rate. they'll wish they didn't get into the wemby sweepstakes, imo. they're going to miss the playoffs whilst bolstering the careers of olynyk and markannen, who won't be any part of utah jazz lore.

i don't get it at all. if you were going to dump all the guys you did at the deadline for what you dumped them for, that was there in july. big fail.

    So, let me try:

    • Warriors over Pelicans
    • ATL over Portland
    • OKC over Utah
    • Sacramento over LAC.

Basically, everything should go our way tonight, or 3 out of 4 in the worst case. But we have to win tonight, which isn't going to be easy. Wish we had Dlo, but maybe he'll be back on Sunday. I do believe we make the play-in even without Bron.

That's a pleasant surprise. Thank you Murray

OKC needs to hold on for another 8 minutes. That one is looking promising.

Man that’s a bad loss, we’d have been tied for 9th/10th at 31-33, now we remain tied in the loss column with OKC and Portland.

Huge opportunity missed tonight. This was a MUST win and we didn't get it. Unfortunate. Dlo needs to come back soon. Can't afford to waste more chances like this.

Last I heard the Clippers are a lock to go 2-10 with Westbrook starting.
