All-time Lakers vs All-time Bulls. Who wins and by how much?

Also, LOL at Shaq putting himself at PF because he knows Kareem has that C position on lock.

Shaq/Kareem vs Rodman/Grant ..... We would KILL them

And they should stick to their 3-peat teams and leave Rose out. Rose can't shoot and I think Paxson/Kerr/Harper may be a better fit at PG.

^Chamberlain, Gasol, Worthy, Scott and West off the bench? That team could beat the Bulls' all-time greats

I miss Von Wafer and Marcus Banks on the Lakers roster...Banks is a living legend, even though he never played for us. His presence was felt through out the organization.

and summer league wonder Tierre Brown...."Fa Sho, Fa Sho".

Goodrich would be in that bench squad. That would be a fun group to put through training camp to see who really would start. Most people do not know or remember just how great West and Chamberlain were.

I don't know about "50", but yes the Lakers would beat them, it's not even fair how many ridiculously skilled players we've had. Best PG ever IMO, 2nd best SG ever according to even the haters, one of the best forwards ever, the best C ever in Kareem, and a top 5 C, top 10 player ever in Shaq. If you add all-time benches to this, it might be a 50 point win though.

    Magic/Goodrich
    Bryant/West/Scott
    Baylor/Worthy/Wilkes
    O'Neal/Gasol
    Kareem/Chamberlain/Mikan

Yeah... I'd say we're pretty much set.

O'Neal should go to the bench. Then, it might be fairer to compare our bench to their starting lineup.

    G: Goodrich
    G: West
    SF: Worthy
    PF: Gasol
    C: O'Neal

Or, we can put West at PG and Cooper at SG to guard Jordan.

We've got Centers for days. I mean most of the great Centers are ours already. It wouldn't matter too much who came off the bench and who didn't.

It's really unfair to compare our greats to anybody though. The C Bags are the only team in the history of the NBA that could try to match-up with us and they don't really either.

It would be better to do an all-time Lakers vs all-time rest of the league matchup. :)

Shaq and Kareem would not even be fair. But man, all time Lakers vs all time rest of league, that would be fun.

    All-time rest of the league:

    Big O
    Jordan
    Bird (Lebron?)
    Duncan
    Chamberlain (Olajuwon, Russell?)

Wilt should be part of this team because he had his best years in Philly.

Is Duncan there for defense, or titles? I might have Malone there or even Garnett. Like Duncan a lot, but he's had some great teammates and the stability of the same coach his entire career. Personally, Olajuwon is the best Center I ever saw after Shaq, but then I never saw Russell or Wilt. At PG you've got quite a few choices too. Isiah Thomas has to be in the mix.

    @Weezy

Duncan and O.Robinson are there to defend Shaq and Magic. I may even slide over Olajuwon to PF.

yes, that's right...you have to borrow ATG players from different teams just to deal with ATG players from the Lakers
