Idk about all of you but I like him more than DFS.

Dude can score and hit the 3 and create his own shot.

Overall this trade is meh to me but I actually think he may be the more impressive get in the deal.

advanced numbers have never really liked him, but he's a 40% three point shooter with some ability to handle (not a pg, but can playmake a bit). interestingly, it's his offensive numbers that have been bad in terms of on/off adjusted+/- stuff.

guess we'll see. can't be much worse than dlo has been in like, 2/3 of our games this year.

Always thought of him as one of those journeyman 6th man scoring types like Clarkson? Have no idea if his defense is good or not

His most recent game he started and did quite well. The potential and talent is definitely there. He did good for the sixers last year too if I’m not mistaken

He runs hot or cold, he can make some plays and hit a few shots, or he can be out of control, and a bone head at times. Kinda a poor man's Malik Monk.

But can he move his feet on D???
Scoring isn’t our biggest problem this season.

His name is actually Malik, I think, but nobody calls him that. In any case, here's your (undersized) scoring guard who can go downhill and use his freakishly long arms to score around the basket. He's barely 6'5" with almost 7'1" wingspan. Crazy, when you think about that. Can get hot easily microwave style. Can play some D, but bigger, stronger guards will find a way to abuse him. In any case, he can do what Dlo does scoring-wise, but much cheaper (we have him for 3 years for relatively little $$). Can shoot some 3, on a low volume though. Situational player for sure, but overall quite alright:

Not an amazing player, but unlike Max Lewis he CAN play now, so we got better on the margins, which is all many have been asking for. So getting him in the deal is pretty solid to me

I think this is pretty accurate.

I’d add that he does seem to have some toughness and I believe I saw a post from Cranjis that he may be a better defender than I thought. I’ve only seen him play a handful of times though.
