Couldn't buy a 3, but he wasn't the only one. It's contagious. Outside of that, this is the Rui we need if he's sticking around and part of the long term plan. Defense, hustle, energy, using his size and REBOUNDS!

When he came back that final stretch in the 4th, he made 3 big time plays. That's what winning basketball is all about.

Great game saving tap out. Hope AD paid for a nice steak dinner and a bottle of Bron recommended wine.

Good activity. Fantastic night from deep for him. He needed this.

Props for next man up mentality.

Solid starter. Not going to be there every night but he a plus on the most games now. Shown good growth and probably exceeding his contract a bit now

Rui has been solid but as Pioneer said...not going to be there every night. He's frustrating on D because he is not smart...case and point..he's guarding the inbound, and steph gets WIDE OPEN for a 3...why the hell weren't Rui's eyes ON STEPH? He shoulda left to try and defend that shot at least...and you LIVE with Wiggins getting and shooting it versus Steph!!!

He was ON tonight tho from deep...andn we're gonna need him to be on for the rest of the year tbh. We need him to shoot over 40%...his splits are 48/41/82 right now but I think 12 and 6 isn't enough from him esp given what we're paying him. He needs to raise that to 14 and 7 at the very least...

There's been some real, albeit inconsistent, growth on that side of the ball paying real dividends.

JJ and staff are doing some productive development with Rui and Max. Of course out of sheer short handed necessity no doubt, but these guys are better players now than they were at the start of the season.

It was great to see Rui use his size against GS and his three ball was falling. He has a ton of skills. He just needs to be more consistent. Obviously he stepped up his production with AD out, but he needs to stay aggressive.

I’m still all in on Rui.
He does need to work with a poor man’s Hakeem on his fort work in the paint because often, he gets a bit out of control with his spin move.

Yeah on a team that “needs” size he’s got it and good strength to go with the numerous skills. None of him and obviously Max and AR too, IMO, have peaked yet. Can see why at this point JJ is probably giving feedback to FO that he wants neither of Rui or Max moved unless for “clear” upgrade in talent in a position of need that fits our now and 5 year time frame …. that Jeanie will OK with the finance ramifications. And of course HIM. Tough. Clutch. Smart. Gamer. Big balls Baller.

I was just coming back to express surprise over Rui having not gotten any flowers yet for last night’s 21 points and continued hot shooting from deep.

Good work …. you can have them!

I'd still like to see the makes and attempts up. But if that was the case, he'd be Cam Johnson.

Rui is streaky. Best not to get too or too low with his shooting

Big thing is his defense seems to be improving and sometimes he'll rebound. That the difference between a good rotation player vs solid starter. You got to be able to give me something positive even if you're shot isnt falling.

Dlo went the opposite way here and he's gone now
