Rui has to knock down his open looks period, that's why he's in the lineup. I have full confidence, that he will snap back into form at home.
Rui picked a very very bad no-good awful time to have a few bad games. Does DEN deserve credit? Of course. But Rui has also been lousy. One of my favorite players shriveled up like a sack of dimes. Is DEN bigger? Yea. Do they stay in front of you? Yea. Do they contest every damned shot? Yea. Do they wipe the boards clean? Yea. Still. Rui: we expected more.
He has been terrible and the guys that he's supposed to match, Gordon and MPJ, have BADLY outplayed him. I hate this cuz I think the Lakers will overreact and probably dump him and reaves for f***ing Trae Young.
You know what Kuzma would do during the bubble run: fight for rebounds. Rui was awful but he's shown a lot of growth. Hopefully someone will get into his head to practice boxing out.
Imagine having to constantly tell guys who are supposed to be to the best players on the planet that they need to remember to do the basics. SMH.
Rui is struggling so far, but at least he and Prince combined for 18pts and 7rebs in this one. Hopefully he'll catch fire in the next game.

Why would DLo do us a favor by agreeing to a S&T? Hachi is just fine. He had a bad series vs Denver- so did everyone last year and Denver is looking like they are going to the Finals again this one.
His usage and FGA have significantly dropped from last season's playoffs and he can't contribute in others ways .
that's been the book on him. not a super high iq player, imo. if you can force him to make decisions, you can get the better of him. i really preferred him off the bench with vando starting, but we didn't really get a chance to see that this year.
I think we're going to look at trading him. I'm not mad about it, he is an inconsistent player that blows hot and cold.
I love Rui but he laid a fat egg this series and that’s not acceptable. I’m ready to move on after this. Sorry to say it.
Rui needs to be a lot better man on defense and the glass. MPJ stole his lunch money. He's gotten better and hopefully he can see what he needs too work on
He did a whole lot of nothing a whole lot of the game and series unfortunately. I thought he'd show us a lot more than this. I'm bummed as I like him. But man did he let us down. There's not time for him to get up to speed, IMO.
