Predictions For The Season. How Far Do We Go?

Predictions for the season after Dallas' extinction level event of trading Luka to the Purple and Gold.

 

I want to see how we match up with Denver and Oklahoma City with this new team, but the talent is there to win a world championship.

denver's the only team that'll keep this team from the finals

 

We went from middle of the pack, need some moves to become a contender. To the contender bracket with OKC & Denver in the West.

With a better defensive presence at center, I think we would have a higher chance at the championship. But in saying that, we’ve been rotating really well these last 10 games and really defending and rebounding in mobs. Skys the limit if we continue playing like this.

 

I need to watch a few weeks of this 2025 iteration before committing

 

guessing we won't gel in time to win it this year, but i think we get into the second round and put the fear of the lord into someone. i could see upsetting okc or denver only to have luka or lebron run out of steam as things go.

but, yeah, my prediction would be hard-fought second round loss.

but a full season with a summer of roster tinkering...we're back.

 

Lose in the WCF, but get a real C this summer and win it all next season.

 

Championship or bust

 

WCF unless we play Dallas first. I'm not afraid of Denver, they got rid of their best perimeter defenders.

Dallas is cooked. With all their injuries I can’t see them being a threat this season.

 

Maybe. Maybe not. Injuries heal, AD is the biggest question mark.

 

OKC fans are hilariously cocky for a team that has never had any playoff success with this playoff core. They do realize Luka destroyed them with a worse team right?

I’m not saying we’d beat them for sure, but to act like the Thunder would just run through LA is laughable. No one is scared of them.

 

Yes, we can smack OKC in the WCF, a team built for the regular season and then squeeze the juice out of whatever sacrificial lamb the EC sends us.

 

I was going to say something similar to 52years. Let me see a few games at least. Luka sure ain’t moving like prime Luka yet and that’s completely understandable. But he needs to on defense certainly to be the best he can there to hold up his end of the heavy switching. Dagger pushed point touching bare skin against my stomach to say “now” or IN it goes I’m with Barns. The IQ and talents cumulatively of our BIG 3 and orchestrated by JJ … along with the rest of the talent on the squad and our size and playoff experience …. we now have much more than just a puncher’s chance. And as ALWAYS with the LUCK of good health.

 

OKC doesn't scare me one bit. neither does memphis

denver and a healthy dallas team do, but not sure if the latter will actually happen
