hate to be down on him cause he was such a great laker. But he looked gasoft last night and slow. Terrible shooting night and clearly not what Bulls were looking for. He wasn't on floor in crunch time either. Got me thinking that we are actually lucky he left.

I was very surprised to see him on the bench at the end of OT, certainly not why Chicago had brought him in. He looked as though he was trying to be supportive, but none too happy.

Ever since it was rumored than shannon brown allegedly slept with his fiancé ? And Kobe's wife allegedly got in middle of it and bynum said 'we have trust issues'?

He had an off night offensively. He did have 5 or so blocks. His role won't be the same as it was on the lakers, but he will have a huge impact on that team.

Yeah that seems like a rough judgement. He looked fantastic early and he protected the rim like I haven't seen him do since he was a Champion. He looked gassed and uncomfortable down the stretch.

He still has looked better in Chicago than he has for us in the last 3 years.

I disagree. He shot poorly but he did everything else pretty damn well.

    I think we
    Can disagree on that.

His blocks were solid but he want used at crunch time.

No problem. I'll just agree to disagree. I feel like in general sure he's not what he used to be, but he's looked pretty good for them so far. He had 20/10 in their first game. I don't know that he's cooked 100%. He's definitely not 2009 Pau though.

I thought he looked very good at times. In the end of the third or the fourth (not sure exactly when) he was looking gassed and his offense was not working. It was the absolute correct decision by Thibs to bench him rather than keep going to him on O. Pau sat on the bench and used all 1001 expressions of disgust that he is the master of. The cameras really focused on him. He should really put a towel on his head at times like this. Then another Chicago big fouled out and he came back for the end of the fourth and overtime. He was rarely this useful in our last two years with him.

What are you saying? That he was literally Ga-soft in bed?

I honestly don't see how anyone could think he looked bad. If you are comparing players in their mid 30s to what they were 10 years earlier,
most players will look bad to some degree. Pau gets them high percentage buckets on a team that has had terrible offense. He also is one
of the best passing bigs of all time. Add a few blocks here and there and he's playing fantastic in my opinion.

what are you talking about Gasol makes a block party almost every game.
i actually think he shows more energy then what i saw from him in the previous 2 years.

Gasol Noah and Gibson are 3 lethal weapon by their ability to pass to each other, score and defend.

You would think by now Lakers fans could take off the hate blinders on Pau. They have off nights. It happens. So everytime he doesnt rock a double-double he is "ga-soft" which is still in my book just a stupid name.

I've seen a couple games and he looks revived and he looks solid out there for them. He is still one of the best big men in the league. He just isn't that #2 guy anymore but can definitely put up 25/10 in a few games to carry his team.I look for him to have a really good year

while gasol has definitely been on a downward spiral since 2011, he still has something left in the tank and definitely hasn't hit rock bottom yet. just an off night for sure. he sure showed glimpses of the old pau on opening night

The real judgment for him will come playoffs time in big games ... in which he didn't deliver for three straight seasons .

Of course he's still good enough to destroy the scrubs of the Leastern in November

Gibson is way better than Pau on the defensive end ... not surprising at all
